Myanmar

COAR began work in Myanmar in 2019, focused initially on Rohingya, Rakhine, and other conflict-affected communities living in Rakhine State.  Following the February 2021 coup d’etat, COAR increased its geographic coverage and adapted new methodologies in order to better respond to emerging conflicts and crises throughout the country.  COAR Myanmar supports major aid actors through the provision of bespoke research and analysis, which also contributes to and informs the wider aid discourse.  Some of COAR’s clients have graciously permitted deliverables to be shared externally, a sample of which can be found below.
